Hawaiian Desserts: Kulolo (Taro Pudding) - Onolicious Hawai?i

Pile fallen coconuts
Pierce shelled core of its meat
Pluck taro roots and boil
Pound roots with honeycomb 
Pour in tin cans with lids
Place in a ground oven
Poi Kulolo dessert

POI was a very strange dessert when I tasted it in Maui when I lived on the fat of da land. Thanks for sharing. I found this very enlightening. Definitely an Hawaiian classic.

Poi is a staple food for Hawaiians/Polynesians, like Rice is for Far East Asians, Pasta for Southern Europeans, Potatoes for North Americans. Poi added with raw beehive honeycomb creates a sweeten version of Poi we call, Kulolo. Thank you, Benjamin, for your thought-filled sharing. Aloha~William

Sounds like a delicious pudding. I love biscuit pudding which is a famous thing we do in the maldives .. your wordplay and flow of your pleiades is beautiful.
