Prime Delivery Man Tries Not To Look
Prime delivery man sees blob of red on the couch on porch.
He parks next to it, makes a note, realizes it is an old woman.
She is misshapen, with white roots showing – sleeping or dead?
He does not know, so he moves quietly and quickly.
Stealthily. I keep my eyes closed as he delivers three boxes.
I keep them lightly closed, so it looks like I am not trying.
He does not take obvious looks, I see he is curiously afraid.
“HI!”I say as he places the last box on the porch.
He screams like a bird being eaten by my cat.
Serves him right for catching me out her in May
Wearing my Santa Claus pajamas and no bra.
