Preschool Games
Standing in a wooden room, barren, except for sand,
Three little girls play pretend,
A bee hive hangs in the corner, of the playhouse,
Big and large it stays around,
Busy buzzing bee's fly in and out,
The window letting sun in on the ground,
"Little girls, little girls, let me in" a voice says, carried by the wind,
From behind the door, a knock sounds loud,
The little girls laugh and scream aloud,
"Not by the hair on our chinie chin chins"
Are the words they yell to the man
Knock knock sounds echo on wood
They laugh and play during pre-school
Buzzing, buzzing bee's don't like the sound,
They buzz and swarm all about,
The little girls scream and pile out,
The playhouse is empty all around,
"Daddy!" the redheaded one says "The bee's are out!"
Her little freckles match her hair, as she squints up tears tasted in her mouth,
Her daddy hugs her tight and say "Honey it's all right",
She stands with her friends as her dad starts the fight,
He knocks down the hive for all the kids to see,
The girl smiles, she loves Daddy,
The hive is gone, along with all the bee's,
A hero is what her Daddy is to she,
"Got you little girl" her dad says with a hug, "Now wasn't that game a little fun?"
