'preordained'

If I could, I would take away your questions Make you worries disappear Wave my magic wand Just to turn your frown into a smile Life just don’t work that way, There are moments in life When we don’t know the reasons why Maybe we are not suppose to know why Maybe we are not suppose to wonder why Even that knowledge will not deter us From searching for reasons Searching for meaning To why we have to struggle, Why we can’t always have everything we want We get thrown for a loop, Illness strike, heartache cross our path To test our faith, to build our character, To grow into the man or woman We are ultimately destined to be…

they call it real life when things don't go our way. and you have to play the cards that are dealt to you. the test is are you going to cheat. or be a coward and fold, when you can trust in the hand that you were dealt and raise it untill all you have is on the table and it's time to see who wins. Whenever I get into the "poor me" syndrome, I try to remind myself that God puts challenges before us for a reason, Wilma. He wants us to learn. People who have luxurious lives probably can't relate to the need to work at building character. You know, this would make a great entry for Gareth's "Inspiration" contest. It certainly inspired me. Very profound message here. Love, Carolyn
