Precious Views

As I drove through the desert hills climbing ever higher, My heart was anxious to reach my final destination. The beauty of the landscape only helped to inspire As my soul was filled with awe and admiration. It was a sunny day full of peace and tranquility. I was all alone, not another soul in sight. I wasn’t sad, things seemed as they were supposed to be. I’d never gone this way before, but it just felt right. As I drove along, memories of my life passed me by. I say many loved ones that had gone on years before. Every moment was shared with someone by my side. Now I realize what this journey I’m taking is for. The things I’ve done throughout my life, both good and bad Have made me the person that I am today. I hope in the end, that it’s a good life I’ve had Doing what I could to help others along the way.
