Once I found myself with my back against the wall Trying hard to contemplate the meaning of it all It was then I bowed my head and ask of the Lord Is it better for a man to use the cross or the sword The answer came as suddenly as a bolt of light There are times in this life that a man must fight Instead of fighting with our fist we fight with our prayer Ask of the Lord and his guidence will be there I’ve laid down my boots and said bye to my gloves Let the hate leave my heart so it could fill with love Love is the most beautiful thing we could ever know For it is the thing that binds the heart to the soul As I bring an end to this little rhyme You are about to read the love story of all time For the love of the Lord simply can’t be beat What good is the A-1 sauce if we have no meat?
