Praying For a Better Year

Coming unto you great and gracious God thank you for bringing me through 2021 it was so unexpected all that pandemic but so fearful that just wanted to run But your faithfulness is always sure you know the end from the beginning knowing that you're always in control brings a real peace forever ringing As I look ahead to 2021 wondering what's ahead next year to you, I come for merciful grace so that you'll keep me in top gear Lord, please remove this covid 19 from every continent upon the earth for many lessons, we all will learn firstly to obey you for all its worth So bring upon us your full blessing nothing less is what we need forgive us for all our sins this I sincerely honestly plead ( I have written this poem as a prayer to God for my hopes and pleadings for next year and what this broken world needs to get it back to God.)

Hi Gordon, I love your poem - yes perhaps God will listen to us, but what about all the bad that is going around at present, for which we are responsible - climate change, de-reafforestation, hunger, lack of water. We have neglected Earth, I hope He hears your prayer. Hugs and blessings, Jennifer.

Hi Jennifer, Glad you loved my piece and understand your sentiments about where mankind has failed in looking after God's creation which is our responsibility. So we must still pray for God's forgiveness and hope for another chance to put things right again.Hope you're keeping safe in present times, we go on boxing day to level 4 lockdown for 3 weeks so it's tough times. Hope you have a blessed Christmas and thanks for your encouraging friendship in the past year again. Gordon
