Power of Love

Feuds are made in moments, But last for many years. Minds so full of hatred, That spreads around our peers. Generations learn to hate, It’s passed around quite free. If you don’t hate my enemy, Then how can you love me? If love was bound within the heart, Then maybe we would see. That hate could not be entertained, For love would set it free. I know that I am perfect, For it’s only love I feel. Except of course for people, Who think my love’s not real. But I will love them also, When they see my point of view. It’s just ‘their’ hate that’s stopping, All my love from shining through. Ivor G Davies
