Kapernick's stance is not only foolish, but absurd on face value. Every employee must accept the location of the employer as a condition of employment.

You are a generous, tolerant fellow, Kenneth. As for me, lying hypocrites like Kapernick are insufferable at best. A mere two weeks before he started with his 'slavery' claim, Kapernick was still trying out for pro football teams, trying to get back onto the field! I guess he's just another 'Uncle Tom,' eh?! lol. Guess who is not good enough to make the grade, by the way?!... Keep Smiling :) gw

Colin Kapernick is claiming slavery because professional team owners pay millions and millions of dollars to college stars, in return for which the players 'have to' (lol) sign contracts committing them to play for a given team for 1 - 4 or 5 years. And if they get traded to another team during their first few years, they have no choice but to go. What a horrible existence. (If it were a completely free market, everyone would play for the west coast teams. The Chicago Bears, Pittsburgh Steelers, Cleveland Browns, etc. wouldn't even be able to field a roster. Who wants to come to Chicago, Pittsburgh or Cleveland?). :) gw

I do not know what he has done since I do not follow sports, but this is nicely rhymed!

Don't be. Colin Kapernick the genius who started the 'tradition' of taking a knee when the National Anthem is played...

I have no idea what is going on in that young man's mind. I wonder how much of the $43 million he has now, and whether he is doing anything beneficial with it. Just sayin'.

Oh, I'm sure Colin is running several soup kitchens and other such efforts on behalf of 'his people.' lol. It probably takes a million dollars per shower to dry all that hair he has... Not to worry, as spokesman for Nike, he makes more per year than he ever did (only $11.4 million) as a football player. ~ Sniffing and sobbing for this poor underprivileged victim of America's racism.
