I must give shout out to Sara Etgen-Baker as it was her poem "Silence Speaks" and the picture with it that spurred the muse to ponder.....and write these

muted images reflected in the silence a Buddha smiles upon reflection a gnarled tree mocks itself as the pond slumbers mountain shadows creep slowly becoming taller as ripples giggle a Butterflies wings soft ripples soothe the pond as the world trembles nature’s mirror reflecting on itself in sunrise prayer Buddha smiles as the pond slumbers as ripples giggle as the world trembles in sunrise prayer

Hey, Regina, I have a rock garden with a Buddha in it. And when the shadow's are just right one of the stones looks like a dark hooded specter stalking the Buddha....Thanks for stopping by.
