Pollen Count Is Up
I saw several Johnny-Jump-Ups today
In the meadow they have come to play
Shouting to me as I pass them by,
The pollen is heavy, I’m starting to cry
This spring ailment cuts short my walk
When I get home, I can barely talk,
It seems to be worse than in the fall
When the ragweed comes to call
But this year spring is heard enough
When one can’t breathe, it’s really tough,
I can’t hardly wait for a pleasant summer
When taking my walk won’t be a bummer.
