Politics and Pandemic

A phrase used by a friend of mine. One in which she truly believed. Not one to say things were fine, Her"this too will pass"was meant to relieve. I look at where we are today. I am at a loss to know what to do. I think of what she would say. It gives me something to hold on to. I am trying to believe that her words are true. That this nightmare will soon end. But positive news reports are few. No encouraging message to send. We are living life day to day. Uncertain of what tomorrow will bring. We are lost and can't find our way. We will never forget this particular spring. Our country is in financial trouble. Federal and state are both the same. Politics enter, and problems double. It's time to look for someone to blame. The November presidential election, is showing up in the middle of it all. Both parties claim the best selection. Media will heat up into the fall. Politics being aired at this time is wrong. But it finds a way in to take up space. As one country,we need to be strong. For what we have lost, we can never replace.

An accurate analysis of the sad state of the state, Sandra. Will it pass? --- Yes. The question is when. Hope it doesn't take a long as the Great Depression did to rebound, but one never knows. Stay cheerful now, Gershon

Thank you Gershon, I too hope this will end soon. The two issues, together, creating more issues. Remaining cheerful though!

This is so true. I do not know what the answer is to all this, other than we need to unite, but so much is lost that cannot be replaced , as you say and we are living day to day. Well done Sandy :)

Thank you Heidi. A very confusing, frightening time. We can't lose hope.
