Political Insanity

Convictions are won, when a candidate sums up the ills that need fixing. Since we're hoping and thinking of another Abe Lincoln…., but instead we are gettin' the dumb and the dumber But, I must mark my ballot...., and hardly can bear it I'm unable to choose…..What to do? What to do? I step into the booth.....either choice...and we lose They have spewed out the dirt..Both candidates scrambled Every issue they skirt, means a vote is a gamble! The speeches are fishy.....filled of washy and wishy They bash out and lash out, and need to do laundry! They blame their opponents...while making proponents Ridiculous claims, and lack any shame It's only a game…for winning the fame So what should I do? Once again, we are screwed Who should I vote for....from two I deplore? While they cover their asses....I'll take off my glasses Should I make my vote blind, and hope they'll do fine? Pin the tail on a donkey…..? Or do elephants fly?
