drama,
sculptors
have similarly advised apprentices,
do not do as I have done
unless you could do naught else.
But what about gardening
and parenting?
speaking of grace and beauty, lovely communication,
visually and sensually rich therapies
for growing eyes and minds
ears and tastes and bodies.
Does successful and beautiful communication
in the public eye
place leadership demands on empathic engagement
and expression?
Sensually wealthy commitment to healthy integrity,
no less artistically and scientifically rigorous
when organizing domestic 24/7 resonant incarnation liturgies,
recreating inclusive neurosystemic engagement rituals,
expressions of organic life-love grace
empathically healthy re-connecting
re-ligioning communion
and naively, yet climatically,
disconnecting
irreligious
irritatingly crafty
and dull pathological performance.
Wondrously skillful co-passionate expression
requires more mindful consciousness commitment,
feeling focus,
co-invested passion/pleasure skills,
than does a scientist’s Great Literature
wheelhouse of merely orthodox truths.
Parents,
like multiculturing therapists,
cringe when too often disrupted,
not by our personal truth is integral beauty
artists of compassion empowering communication,
but by the occasional eruptive child
becoming who they truly feel
and would not be perceived ugly
because of your prior orthodox commitment
to self-preservation
