Rather unique we poets are among the creative set Revving up our stanzas fast as a streaking jet Short stories take a while Novels take forever Not to mention oil paintings or musical endeavors Some of us can labor on a verse for days or more Others whip a poem off in line at the store Yet it really doesn't matter how long we take to pen one All the reader really wants is to view it and to have fun
