Poetrysoup
I found my muse
And added a pinch of euphony
A lilting dash of beauty
And wafting cup of imagery
I stirred in two tablespoons of fauna
and sprinkled a half cup of Flora
I boiled a gallon of rain drops
Cooled my creation for five minutes
And ladeld my secret family recipe
into a large bowl
Presenting my favorite poetrysoup
[]
Through the kitchen window a thunderous rain storm bounced upon my favorite elm tree
I swayed to the pitter patter of drops as I watch my two favorite squirrels scurry for cover
I gazed upon the fast moving clouds as a pure white beam of light pieced the clouds
placing itself on a wild sun-orange daisy
I glanced toward my pasture as my three
labrador retrievers leaped above the dancing wild grass
As distant thunder played an ancient drum beat while my dogs howled in unison
I turned to stir my scrumptious soup
As a crystalline rain soaked river ran away...
It was the last day of spring
