Poetry of Purpose
One morning, enchanting poetry
screamed through the screen of my P.C,
poems to question, when
‘Collaborating in the clouds’ poems of humour,
‘No farting allowed’, A little bit of sin’
And then the intellect and learning of the
‘Roman Legion’.
No surprise when along with Shakespeare,
Wordsworth, and other classical poets, and
Modern day Taylor Swift, she was chosen
With her poetry by a Russian university,
To study, not forgetting ‘Crown of Sonnets’
To add to her repertoire of wonderful
Diverse poetry.
My humble attempt to raise the profile
Of ‘Mandy Tams’ Who could believe
When reading her poetry, especially
The humourists ones. That she was given
A life sentence of disability, with a
Contaminated polio pill as a 2-year-old.
