Poetry Is Useless
They use to say and even today
that, poetry is useless.
If that be true then Psalms,
would have never been written.
If that be true then music,
would be silent,
Chubby Checker,
would have never twisted.
Elvis would not be missed
and the shower,
would have no singing.
without poetry,
Life would be a mess
