Poetry Is a Life Cherishing Force
"Poetry is a life - cherishing force. For poems are not words, after all, but fires for the cold, ropes let down to the lost, something as necessary as bread in the pockets of the hungry." - Mary Oliver
Poetry is a life - cherishing force.
It is a wide reservoir of resource
that is always there to reinforce
the goals that we ought to enforce.
Poetry is a home for the lonesome.
Folks are so charming and awesome.
Ladies are gorgeous and men are handsome,
and their characters are so wholesome.
Poetry does not only ought to inform.
It is a shelter from the strongest storm.
To many, it is a platform to perform
the goals to transform and reform.
