let metaphor and simile embellish
posie pictures others will relish
whereas imagist show &don't tell
a psalmist pens ideas in parallel
capture images before they fly
thus imagination ne'er runs dry
everyone has a living muse
true poets always let her choose
quatrains are the basic poetic line
rhyme therein is just fine
this an example of one these
two couplets together always please
