Poetry

everyone has
a little love to give
a reason to live.
a light to share
feelings to spare
words that dare
moments of dispare
a minute to care
a moment to share
a time to declair
and a time to be there
and here is
our love to give
our reason to live
what we share
the feelings ensnared
words that declair
moments that we stare
with bravery that dares
is that pride in there
it is'n t property
but priority
that season
the things with in
how are we to tell the world
about our world within
give it spin
and make it rhyme
give them reason
to laugh or cry
as the subject
passes by
and if they read it
again and again
your fortune will be
time without end

How are we to tell the world about our world within" Such wonderful though in this part. I loved the whole poem but those two lines speke to me. I've found out you are T.S. and not situation, you've been fooling me for too long! :)

Hi TS, the convention was just a dream but many of us have discussed how great it would be for Soup members to get together. The main problem is that there are so many Soupers from other countries and choosing a convenient location for all seems impossible. Best wishes, Carolyn

Despite some misspelled words in this presentation, it has some good rhyme and descriptiveness.

Poets have a special way of impacting readers, TS. When I'm down, I sign on to the Soup and look for the humorous poems. They really do help. And sometimes the sad ones help as well, because we know there are others who are facing similar struggles. Nicely said. Best wishes, Carolyn

This is a fine and fun read, The Situation! Close ups on mood and origin of"Poetry". Blown away by your notions; swept up and transported by the rhyme. Thank you! Take care...Keep well.. Mikki

I think that is what poetry is about making them laugh or cry mostly making them feel. Enjoyed the poem this morning. God Bless Phyl
