She has given me a reason to get up in the morning
Something to look forward to,
She delights me, excites me, enthuses me, bamboozles me.
Poetry!

She has brought friends my way in the form of followers.
I am now a cult leader, revered and adored.
She has uplifted me, and has gifted me with positivity and mirth
Poetry!

Now my doctor and hairdresser, she has kept me afloat during a pandemic
A time in my life where my only friend, and best life line 
is actually a subject rather than a person
Poetry!

She has awakened me in the middle of the night 
Feeding me lines during my sleep, 
being my protector, my lover, my cheerleader, my friend, my family!
Poetry!
