Poetic Cries

Losing senses. . . . . .taste, and touch All because. . . . . .I loved too much This is what's become of me A monster; cruel too tough to bleed Lose myself. . . in hate, and pain . . .Instead of sun- shine, there is rain. . . . . .I can't explain. . . I just can't see . . .I can't explain. . . What's . . .gone in me. . . This is what's become of me A monster; cruel too tough to bleed I lift my hands . . .to you but you don't care to lift me. . . There's so much pain you've put me . . .through and now this black is all I see. . . This is what's become of me A monster; cruel too tough to bleed In one hand . . .is my halo We have sung this song before. . . On the other hand . . .I've let go But greedy hands want more. . . This is what's become of me A monster; cruel too tough to bleed

Strongly and emotionally expressed. Of course we need a cry when things don't seem to be going right...but you're no monster...far from it :) // paul

Oh wow. I'm sort of speechless. There's this part that struck me hard ". . .I can't explain. . . What's. . .gone in me. . " What's GONE. As if it doesn't exist anymore, or you think it doesn't anyhow. Something to think about I guess. And the repetition and form is just great. I love this. I'm gonna have to read it again for sure. Best wishes to you this holiday season!
