Poem I - Remember Me

I hate *** sweets. Mint flavour. I don't by them anymore because that's how I met you. Over a sweet. Stupid hey? But I can promise you what happened afterwards wasn't. You don't understand. I was born with the Cancer starsign therefore making me emotional. I never show it to anyone because that's my only weakness. You had the power to control but you were so lost within your own egotistical mindset you had this belief that you could have your way. You don't understand. You called what we had a game when no one was playing. If we were to play I would've won without making a move. Believe me when I say your "assets" can only get you so far. You seem to get this "high" off of people wanting you, checking you out and whatnot. Then when the tables turn asset becomes liability and you can't pay the people you owe, or in your case "return the favour." You don't understand. If you were to see my feelings with your own eyes you would drown because it this very place could not contain what I felt for you. I get that i wasn't necessarily the best person but I was real with you. Friends came and left and I was there. I've seen you smile, I've seen you cry. Nevertheless I won't say you've made a mistake you simply haven't come to your senses yet. You don't understand. I hate *** sweets. Mint flavour.
