gaping holes to escape its wrath..

Plumbing Life's Mysterious Ways

I.

I've sent my arrows flying in deep
life and heartache rivers ran dry
no more this agony stones for pillows
blessings lost then re-found dreams that excite
left my home town dark caverns echoing my return
everything changed hope worn well
to deepest sorrows new chains were found

II.

to believe is to act evil wraps warming arms
I take courage and walk the limbs
the ancient tree dispels my fallacies
twelve inch nails buried to the head

Hi Robert, love the creativity and the content of this wonderful write. This is free verse at its most creative. A write that has made me think deeply. We may never find the heart of life's mysteries. A wonderful write Robert. Have a wonderful Sunday. Your friend always....Mike.

I have a feeling that time is completely beyond human understanding, although I do believe it is,"relative to itself"; our species thinks it knows everything yet, we can't go fifty years without a war. How is that intelligent? We delude ourselves. Well penned, Robert.
