Please NO AI

My heart cries no, no, please no AI -
my brain gets cramps, I can hear it sigh.
My fears shiver and my soul does cry.
All AI feels wicked and viscous,
bound to erase potential in us.
No more striving to accomplish much -
we'll be ghosts of our past human touch.
In such a world, I would not belong.
Wrong is wrong and wrong has come along.
AI, cloning - both sing same sad song.

Duke Beaufort Date: 4/8/2025 6:40:00 PM CayCay, AI is gaining more and more influence over how we get information and how we think. It seems useful for some things. I use it to generate images based on the poetry I write and submit. Lately, it's begun to criticize what I've written and make suggestions I always ignore. However, I've noticed it's getting better at doing what I do. This does bother me too. It's as if all creative thought we have could be replaced...There was a scene in Forbidden Planet when Altaira designs a dress using AI. It's telling considering it was produced in the 1950s.
