Please Listen/ Listen To What I'M Saying

Listen to what i'm saying, and not just what you hear Don't jump to conclusions, and freeze me in a stare. You think you know what's going on, but truth is you don't So you can't tell me what i'm doing wrong, because who REALLY knows? For all that matters, I could be seriously hurt But if i said anything, you wouldn't understand at first. You tell me what I'm thinking, and why I act the way I do, Since when do you read minds? Thinking your eyes see through? Well this isn't about what you see, or even what you hear This is about listening to what I'm saying, but you couldn't care. I'm telling you this now, just to be treated fair Listen to what I'm saying, and not just what you hear.
