Please Help Me Sir

One night while walking in the park I saw a figure gliding in the dark A glimpse of white, and long red hair I knew it was a ghost as it came near Red stains of blood upon her dress This ghostly girl was not at rest With one hand she beckons me Frozen I stood, I could not flee As I looked closer I could see Her throat was cut from ear to ear My body shook, filled with fear Now I hear her deathly moan Please help me Sir I'm so alone Then like the flicker of fireflies She disappeared before my eyes carolann crowley 12/28/2011
