Photographs hanging on a clothesline
Some in color, some black and white
My picture is pinned right up with theirs
In the sky filled with cumulus clouds

That one detail turns it from something pretty into something personal, almost intimate. It made me think of how our lives get hung alongside everyone else’s in this big, windy world, sometimes blending in, sometimes standing out.
