Picnic

My angel wakes up this morning
She wants to go on a picnic
She says she going to pack the basket
And it will be so romantic

I take the bicycles out the garage
Check the tires and put some air
She really likes to go riding
And feel the breeze blowing her hair

We came upon a flowers garden
Still covered with the morning mist
I pick some jasmines flowers for her
And she hugs and gives me a kiss

Her kisses are so sweet
She always kisses me when having fun
So I make her happy at all times
Just so I can always get one

We sat beneath a big oak tree
And enjoy the good foods she made
And as the sun shines brighter
We were cool under the shade

Time can go so quickly
When you are with the one you love
And after a fun filled day
Dark clouds appears up above

Sitting on the grass under the tree
Empty picnic basket on the bikes
We hold hands as it starts to rain
And kisses as the lighting strikes

We didn’t see the weather news
It was sunny and bright outside
Nice day for picnic she said
We packed out basket and take a ride

She loves to cook Trinidad dishes
And sweets she learn from he mother
She even gets me to eat onions
Which I had never eaten before

But everything that touches her hands
“Omg “it tastes so good
And you can smell the food she cooks
Through out the neighborhood

She has this amazing zest for life
And a love of nature and the wild
I think if a grizzly comes upon her
She will charm him with her smile

And she’s such a romantic
With a heart of gold
And she is the fire that’s burning
Deep down in my soul

She packs a big bowl of fruit salad
And a variety of home made cakes
And chicken sandwich with lettuce
And stew beef on coconut bake

Poland springs water and ice tea
She loves leptons’ ice tea
She looks so cute when she tells me
“No soda Mr ” how its not good for me

She comes out the shower
And she kisses me sweet dreams
She’s tired and fell asleep on the bed
As I watch TV and have ice cream

I turn down the volume
And covers her with a sheet
And I just love to lie next to her
And watch her sleep
