My body lies dormant
Now it’s too late to move
O’ I had a chance to praise Him
In the flesh, now I’m only spirit
What did I do, now it’s too late too?
Praise with my voice
I had a choice
I chose not now I’m physically gone
Now my spirit sings His songs
Selah Glory Holy Hallelujah
My body still, it’s over;
My spirit soul rises;
What did I do, now it’s too late too?
Now not In the flesh, now I’m only spirit
O’ I had a chance to praise Him
In mine body, now I’m ever closer
Near Him chances to greater praise Him
In the flesh now gone, now I’m only spirit
His praise no longer in mine lungs
