Pesky Pet - Humour Warning

My pet wasp is called Sunny Jim I captured this pet on a whim He got out his stinger And stung my friend’s finger Pal Susie just cannot stand him! Poor Susie lets out a loud howl As Sunny Jim’s still on the prowl I cannot deny My 'pet' needs to die … I smothered wasp Jim with a towel Inspired by a crazy challenge set by an on line pal .. to write a poem about a pet wasp! 07/04/21

Ha!! this is cute, jan. I am sure you will come up with something for the elemental contest. I think he wanted all three elements mentioned, so that is all you need to try for (unless I got that wrong) well, finally I am caught up here. now to get back to my food storage project. I have a ton of stuff to organize before Natalyn comes to spend the night!!

Hello Jan … You’d make a fortune Jan if you wrote a book on how to tame a wasp. I can tame them, but it’s with fly spray - thanks Jan - Lindsay

Jan, very funny indeed as are the comments and poem in the comments . The people love their animals and it's risky to even think of hurting one. So, you have talent and courage!

I like the creativeness of this one. Way to go. You could have fed him to your owl. Enjoyed reading this one. Sara

Once there was a wee wasp that Jan named Sunny Jim/When he stung her friend's finger, twas the end of him/I filed a PETA complaint/In a voice without restraint/ Jan cried out, "I'll get you, Jenna. Your future's grim!"

You certainly come up with some good ones Jan, and the wasp will get no sympathy from me, your a gentle soul just smothering him, my method is a little more crude lol, great imagination, cheers David

Pity you did not have time to train to sting mosquitoes, yellow jackets, etc., or to eat aphids, but you met the challenge! Aloha! Rico
