Pesky Lion
The lion thinks he is the king but he is not
I am the true ruler of this rocky gray spot
The lion does not even belong here if you ask me
I am angry the men brought him across the sea
I am the mightiest one, the biggest, and the brave.
To think anything else makes you a non-thinking knave.
I am the smartest, the one with the wisdom of Job.
Why did they bring lion here on this side of the globe?
If he dares to pass by, I will show him who is king.
I will make him wail and weep; show him more than one thing.
Here he comes. Is it him? Hard to say. He’s still far out, this guest.
If he comes here, he will find out he is truly second best.
I am the tiger, my hunting prowess is well known to many.
I am a carnivore and my stockpile is plenty.
I am the ruler of this side of the world and this rock.
Is that the lion coming? I will certainly give him the clock.
