Perhaps I'll wish upon the moon
Each elegant beam-dappled eve
Rest all my hopes deep in it, that
Some of these tribulations leave
Else I may have to plead the gods
Void ev’ry slight and bad mistake
Each poorer choice and ill regard
Revised as pure for chance’s sake
And should those airs abandon me
Note all the music hard work sings
Count up as joy and blessings then
Each gift that perseverance brings.
