Perpetual Motion

Gears juicily primed,

pendulum swung,

the first step on rung
elevating – the first palpating
rocket blast into orbit, reaching
escape velocity

pulse into pulse into pulse, 
divinely evolving, expressing

what will my muse inspire today,
rigid form, or Free-verse~
poetry’s perpetual motion?
