Perfect Harmony
PERFECT HARMONY
Walking through the forest in the Spring,
I came upon a wondrous thing.
Up there on a branch of an old oak tree
Two birds sang in harmony.
A perfect symphony.
Nothing special one might say,
Two birds singing side-by-side.
Such things happen every day,
One can hear that far and wide.
So why was this a wondrous thing?
One bird was a dove, pure white
And sitting with him wing-to-wing,
A blackbird sang with all his might.
birds sing together
black and white in harmony
a lesson for us
