People Are People
Why would you hurt someone's son?
Can't you fathom having one?
Though you've probably never been a mother
I'm sure you could be someone's brother.
And what about the girl you hurt because you liked her little skirt
What did she ever do to you, why do you stammer, is it not true?
Yes our skin may not be the same,
but why should that make me the one to blame?.
Our beliefs may be like night and day,
but to a God do we not both pray?
Please think of me as you do yourself,
I'm not something placed upon a shelf.
I'm a person just like you who breaths and eats and feels too.
