Oh gorgeous maiden, with pensive smile. You will write well, I can tell by your style. In a garden you saunter, so flush with pink, Your quill shall require so much fresh ink. The flowers so fragrant fill the Spring air. As young men see you, and can but stare. Best wishes, poetess with tresses so fair. Hold on to your soul, as young men do stare. And your love for writing, shines with a burn. To express true beauty, for which you so yearn! 4/11/2023

Hello back, Darlene! She is quite magnetic and beauutiful. Gershon made mention of her phenomenal eyes. I saw that, too. Someone this lovely should have a poetic heartbeat, I imagined. Sometimes I wish I had studied art! Poetry may seem easy. But excellent poetry takes years to be excellent, I think….pangie xx

Gorgeous couplets, P. I'm still staring at this 'pensive poetess.' Did you hide some magnets in her eyes?! Miles of smiles, Gershon

Good Day, Regina! The image is qite touching~ I just had to pen about this quiet beauty, i saw the possible poetess in her. Someone who wrotefromher hear to touch other souls, not her brain. To me, their is a distinct difference. I am so pleased you liked it, she carries magic within her, not mundane matters. Hugs ~ Pangie xx

Loved the title and your rhyme scheme, dear Pangie. I liked that the narrator took on an observer role and gave the pensive poetess some sound advice. I just loved reading this poem. Thank you, hugs, Sara

Hi Saea.. I think I looked at her and I wish it was me. But ah, the years have fun and I’m not a young girl. I wish I were, tho. I just wrote the poem. You know how from images or photography are just breathtaking or meaningful to you as the writer .and I wasn’t aware of a lot of things that you saw, I just left the palm roll out of me like a wave. That is the best way I can describe it. The picture just enchanted me. I know you know what I’m talking about.. thank you for answering me with your analysis. Pangiexx.
