Pebbles
Like pebbles tossed this lonely shore
form ripples in a silent stream
This weary heart dares to explore
the sadness of its shattered dream
While here beneath a moonlit glare
where only you I search this place
The heavens grasp my desperate stare
for but a glimpse your perfect face
Yet darkness follows close my path
it wanders where I long to roam
As this becomes my aftermath
I yearn to only be back home
Held in your arms forever tight
though this I know now can not be
So of these pebbles cast tonight
I too shall drown this vacant sea
