Peace from the Lord radiates divine light Gripping my mind with stewardship delight Dispelling sorrows that persist to reign Subduing worry of unbelief’s blight. With the peace of Christ on my walk’s terrain Spirit is ensured of triumphant gain Upon His promises I must not doubt Despite trials that bring distress and pain. Grateful am I for peace through kindness-route With smile that smites greed’s woe or selfish pout As compassion prevails and never fails To bring hope, freeing soul from anguish-clout.
