Peace In Our Time

Not wrote a poem in a while, I just want to make you smile. Then I look at this world today, All I can see is the face of dismay. Children are dying all over the place, Terrorists are such a disgrace. Bombers and pedophiles stalk the streets, Killing young kids out for a few treats. Buses blown up and carnage is waged, Wars that only earn dollars are staged. People dying, children crying, Politicians doing nothing but lying. No wonder we now never share mirth, Could this be the end of life on earth. These are questions I ask myself each day. This is the reason why daily I PRAY. GOD help us in our hour of need, How to plant the peaceful seed. © Dave Timperley 30 May 2017
