Peace -What We Al Long For

Hello
Shalom
Yasu
Ola
Ni hao
Bonjour
to all of you out there
We are unstable compounds seeking peace
Urban life makes it difficult to find it
But in the heart of Manhattan
There are ways to escape
There are some fine parks in the ciy
where one can revel in nature
Tai Chi lessons, synagogues, churches
Buddhist temples
are all there for us inthe metropolis
We all long for peace
Hold on to your hopes and dreams
They are the keys to the city
Though few remember that nowadays

We seem to run, collectively, from peace; we also seem to forget hope; you have reminded us in a beautiful way, with this poem.
