Patradoot or The Messenger15 /Many English version by Ravindra K Kapoor On your way dear letter, you keep enjoying, The enchanting wine of nature’s beauty, Till you reach the holy mother river’s place, We all know by the name of Triveni*. Somewhere on your way, you would listen The enthralling sound of Dholak*, And at some place, you may see, A newly wedded bride moving on a Palki* Ravindra Kanpur India 6th June 2010 to continue in 16 *Triveni. A place where three river streams meet. Generally used for the city of Allahabad, where our great holy rivers Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati used to meet at a point known as Sangam. * Dholak. It is the Indian hand drum called dholak. It is a very popular folk drum of northern India. *Palki. Is a small wooden cabin carriage, which was earlier used for carrying one or two persons from one place to another. Generally it was used for newly wedded brides, when she moves from her father's place to her husband's place. The entire cabin hangs on a long bamboo which is carried by 4 - 6 persons. It is still used in some villages in many parts of India. After India ’s independence as a true follower of Gandhi Dr. Amar Nath Kapoor left active politics and devoted rest of his life in writing easy mass literature and wrote many Dramas, Poetry books, epics. All his other literary works were mainly written from 1955 to 1990. He left this mortal world in 1994.

What a lovely ceremony u describe Ravindra in your lines ...so enchanting...I have tried your suggestion for breathing exercise for yoga and it made my headache disappear completely... u have great insight my friend...thankxxx so much for this tip for my body... now to read clearly all the beauty u write...luv..
