Past, Present and Future
Lost and lonely, she wandered abroad,
Looking at things she couldn't afford.
Feeling so lonely as folk passed her by,
Lost in her thoughts of wondering why.
Remembering back when friends were around,
Now ever so lonely, even when in a crowd.
She wonders if friends acquaint to money,
They soon dispersed when she didn't have any.
Now sadly she recalls the friendships past,
Company now just didn't seem to last.
If money and fame were the game to play,
Then alone in this life she would have to stay.
To take her own life was not for her.
Should she carry on alone for another year?
No, she thought, That must not be,
A sedentary life is not for me.
As this year ends I will find a solution,
This New Year I will make a resolution,
I will get up and I will dress up.
And one thing is for sure
I will NEVER GIVE UP !
