Passion For Life

she died on New Year’s Eve nine years ago, this is the year I’ve finally learned to let go my dreams are coming true- my old life gone like yesterday’s breeze and i am renewed like morn for there is power in prayer- scars mended and made beautiful; this is the time when i shall break free i used to walk the dirty floors, not wanting to scrub my bare feet- but i cleansed my soul with utter love; we moved into a new home, walls filled with photos wearing soft smiles (fun memories always made) no more solitude and pain, this year shall be a fresh start- i have learned to struggle…no more when she died my heart stopped while weeping a tear- now passion for life is my resolution this year
