Passing Star
Moving light in the night,
your glow
shines in my heart so deep
Illuminating my mind
with thoughts
so pure bright lovingly
Fate caused you to pass my way,
and I looked with wonder
at your pretty prismatic procession
Rainbow dreams of you
fill my night sky,
as a new dawn hope arise
I saw a beautiful passing star
twinkle in my eye
It lit the fire that had long ago died
A scintillating vision of pure passion
left a comet trail of ecstatic tears
The passing aurora years have again arrived
Such a dazzling sight ...
as I bask in this midnight
farewell joyous cry
A new journey to love —
heartbeat moving faster than light
Pure paradise flight
This bright tomorrow
kissed yesterday’s passing sorrow
forever goodbye
