Passing Days
You see me by the sunlight, I am never out of sight.
I dream, the same dream you dream.
I know your hopes; I was there.
I kept them for you, knowing that you will need them.
I remember your ways in each morning,
looking for blessings in the passing day.
I hear you say "thank you, my weary bones need rest".
You rested only to regain your strength for another day.
You look for me, you see me again by the sunlight;
I am never out of sight.
