Passing By

I can see the sun creeping in, my life changing like the wind.... one moment I'm here, the next, I'm gone again. I'm just passing by, walking the streets of the broken earth, with my beating heart tucked away, behind my old and torn up shirt, I won't stop praying until I'm in the dirt, I'm just passing by. There are things in this life, I know not the answers to them, the only thing I'm capable of with situations, is praying and pressing my way through them. For years and years, I've lived and I've loved. I've cherished all of God's blessings, He had sent from above. And yet.... The desire to see His face, grows stronger every day. I must get there to see Him, there's got to be a way.... to approach the gates of glory, to get my wings, to return home where I belong, and tell everyone my story. The story of a young man, who saw a different world in his eyes, who saw past the fame, the fortune, who looked past the lies. He didn't care about money, cars, clothes, material things.... He had only one desire, to see the face of his Holy King. So until I get there, I'm just passing by....
