  after  ( Love Sonnet For My Partner ) by (  David Crandall )


                                                     Pure
                                               love : yours !
                                              Nice partner -
                                             I'm to honour.
                                          You can feel her love.
                                         Her love : You can observe.
                                       No need to tell ’ I love you.’
                                   Pretty Partener ! It's my view.
                                     No conflict : Get along together .
                                 I can use the term ‘Made For Each Other.’
                                           
                                    I must congratulate your selection
                                        as based on mutual attraction . 
                                          At end of poem, stunt given !
                                              Fact also, funny even.
                                                 It's not ridiculous :
                                                 rather humorous.
                                              Last comes the twist !
                                                    Not the least.
                                                       Yet just
                                                         smart !
