Pardon Me

First Mr. Biden pardons his son
        then murderers, crooks, and family

Mr. Trump, however, not to be outdone
pardons Jan. 6 trespassers, every single one

     Like that New Year’s mantra
'Out with the old, in with the new'

We threw the ‘old bum’ out
New one plays the same old tune

I was drawn to this poem by the telling title and you didn’t disappoint! Politicians are all slick and greasy aren’t they lol.

Hi Gershon, I hope you had a good Shabbat Shalom. I was thrilled Pres Trump pardoned the 28, many elderly imprisoned prolife sidewalk counselors. So I'm grateful to him for that. I did prolife sidewalk witnessing in the 1990's and it was both rewarding and daunting. I did some in the 2000's too, but my knees became so arthritic. Miss it though. Am Yisrael Chai!

Yes. That is good news, unlike Trump's pardoning of the violent jerks he pardoned amongst the Jan. 6 crowd. To Life, Gershon

Should we pardon them presidents…lol. I wonder who will be in office in 4 years? Hopefully our country will balance out and be steared in the right direction. At least things are being done in the open and the Captain is at the helm this time instead of in bed as the ship rocks. Terrible that the admin allowed this, as they controlled the ship and missed seeing the iceberg.

We have yet to see what these oldies are going to do. In most of the countries, those in power are glued to seats of authority how ever old they are, giving no chance to youngsters! Enjoyed your observation wrapped in humor.
